What’s your favorite part about writing? 

I love watching worlds come to life as I put words to paper. Whether I’m writing a quick scene in a short story or an entire 90,000 word novel, it’s always wonderful to see new things come to life.

Where did you get the idea for My Gryphon and I?

It has been a long process and has gone through many changes. I originally wanted to find a way to come back depression and imagined a little golden Gryphon keeping me company and scaring away any of the darkness that was following me. And as I began to write stories about a young woman and her Gryphon fighting the darkness, she soon grew and developed into Ashley who has a bit of her own sass and sense of Honor and Bumble who will always be my sweet Gryphon.
